Chisholm finished with 246 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns as Dayton downed Butler, 38-31, Saturday. He opened the game’s scoring with a 50-yard touchdown reception and added a four-yard touchdown rush in the second quarter. Chisholm tacked on two touchdowns in the third quarter, including a 49-yard touchdown run that provided the game-winning points. He had 157 yards and three touchdowns on his 24 carries, added another touchdown on two receptions totaling 55 yards, and had a 34-yard kickoff return in his only opportunity. Chisholm’s 24 points scored are 12th most and his 246 all-purpose yards ranks 14th in the FCS this season.

Buck led a San Diego defense that held Valparaiso to 57 yards in a come-from-behind 21-14 victory, Saturday. It was the fewest yards allowed in the PFL this season and third fewest in the FCS this season. Buck had a big hand in that effort, with 3.5 tackles for loss (and a tackle for no gain), three sacks, and two quarterback hurries in his six-tackle (three solo) outing. After Valparaiso gained 49 yards on its opening drive, San Diego held the Beacons to eight yards the rest of the game.

Niesner averaged 48.7 yards on his seven punts in Valparaiso’s 21-14 loss at San Diego, Saturday. He had two punts of 60-plus yards, a third of 50-plus yards and saw one downed inside the 20-yard line. Niesner began his day with a 63-yard punt and closed it with a 62-yarder, with each of those punts forcing San Diego to start inside its own 20-yard line.
